| Massage for Special People:
Special People Foundation in the year of 2009 has extended the support to more special children. The center that TMC is working with to improve the children improvement is at the Center for Mental Disabled in Sarapee, Chiang Mai. GCT interns are now participating in giving touch of love to the children and staff with heartfelt result.
TMC is working with Special People Foundation in providing financial support and services. The foundation built a center for special people at Chiang Dao, Northern city from Chiang Mai (70 K.M.). This center is to help the special children and adults around the area. There has been over 100 special people join the center. GCT and Intensive Program interns go to the center to provide massage service to the members. The result can be seen right before your eyes...
TMC, in cooperation with Special People Foundation, provide massage service as support and help to improve the health and wellbeing of the special children and adults at Special People Center in Lumpang.
The interns from intensive program and GCT program join the massage service to provide safe and compassionate massage to the members.
Both children and adults benefit from the Thai massage.
The members are from all walks of life. They live with various dysfunctions but their hearts are so gentle and strong. The givers receive joy as much as giving to the receivers.
The parents have a break from their life long duties caring for their love ones. The interns give massage to the mothers of disabled children.
Break time:
This lunch break, the family of a disabled girl brought a Thai musical band to serenade the members and the interns. The girl also plays an instrument while
the interns play along with joy.
The end of the day, one of the interns received a massage in return from
a young disabled man.
